Ignorance is Not Bliss

Ignorance is not blissful – it is devastating.

It is in the best interest of the individual to pursue information that will lead to a sound decision. Ignoring the truth will never result in soundness or stability.

There are phrases people often use to describe a person’s lack of knowledge. One, I have often heard throughout my life is the phrase, “ignorance is bliss.” I suppose the idea of “what you don’t know won’t kill you” resonates here with the knowledge-challenged individual. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Ignorance is anything but blissful.

It is amazing how many smart people have remained on the sidelines of the gold and silver market. While gold and silver prices have been rocketing upward, relatively few have taken advantage of the opportunity. Why is this happening?

I have scoured the financial pages to find information that would encourage people to invest in gold and silver, with very little success. The lack of information outside of the metals community is deafeningly quiet. While there are outstanding information sources within the metals community for people actively looking for data on the metals front, little information is making its’ way into the mainstream press. Why?

Could it be that the “fiat masters” are stifling the information that would protect the individual investor? Could it be that they are frightened by their potential loss of power should vast groups of people finally recognize their fraudulent fiat money system for what it really is? (Conspiracy theorists would not take long to buy into this idea.)

The bottom line – ignorance is not blissful.

It is in the best interest of the individual to pursue information that will lead to a sound decision. Ignorance is not blissful – it is devastating. Ignoring the truth will never result in soundness or stability.

It is imperative that we inform everyone we know of what we are learning. Real money is not a debt-backed Dollar, Franc or Yen. They are just transitory vehicles for modern commerce. Ignoring that is setting oneself up for anything but bliss. Those who are following the metals market and wisely diversifying a portion of your fiat funds into metals and other jurisdictions, inform your friends and colleagues of the wisdom and knowledge of your decision.

Real truth leads to sound knowledge. Sound knowledge leads to wise action. Wise action leads to personal stability. Personal stability leads to a blissful life.
